Multiple MIDI output

Maybe the answer to my question is in Windows and not in NWC... Thank you in advance for any response.

I have both speakers and an external MIDI device. I would like to configure either the MIDI mapper or NoteWorthy Composer, so that output goes to both outputs, but I don't know how to do that. Maybe it is not possible at all ?

This is probably possible using a virtual midi driver called "Multimid". My system has this installed to allow my Yamaha sound card's control applet take over the native volume control thingie; it should be configurable to pipe output from one device (e.g. your soundcard's midi hardware) to another (e.g. your external synth).

Multimid is quite commonly available, you should be able to find it by using a good search engine such as Google.

A search gave me the following page: http://www.modemss.brisnet.org.au/~mlevoi/midi.html with two similar programs, MultiMid 1.08 and Midi Loopback 2.51. I can not try them before tonight, but it seems by their description that they won't do what I want to:
- they can allow multiple programs to send output to one device
- they can allow one device to send output to another
- but apparently they don't allow one single program to send output to multiple devices.

Anyway, I will get one or both, and try. Thank you for the tip !
