transferring midi from Noteworty to Band-in-abox

Any way I can transfer a complete score from Noteworty to
Band-in-a-box and then arrange the chord playback in band-in-abox? How do I get the score NWC file transferred into
Band-in-abox step by step-I am a novice-Please help.Thanks.

You can import the melody line into BIB but not anyother voices.
When importing you must know the channel that contains the melody in the midi file.

See http://www.pgmusic.com under Tech Support FAQ to see a good article about importing MIDI into BiaB to create new styles. However, it appears that you want BiaB to be able to determine chords directly from the MIDI file; BiaB does not have this capability (I don't know of any product that does, due to the complexity of melody to chord assignment).

Actually, the Cubase family of sequencers (and probably others) display the chord of the moment as the file is playing. It's usually not too far off, but often tries to include passing tones in the chord description, coming up with some pretty exotic-looking chord designations...
