Does NoteWorthy support beam(or tempo) like this?

<Image Link>

Maybe not, but I ask you in hope.(Okay with NWC2.)

How about tempo?

Not like

♩= 88

but like

♩≒ 88

It doesn't do beams except on one side only.
The following could be done as a pair of text entries:

G ~= 88

You mean, that it requires the font NWC2STDA or NWCV15 (or other ones....?). That makes sense. Thanks for good reply.

In NWC2 it is possible to approximate the cross staff beaming using muted, headless notes with controlled stem lengths to manage the beam and overlap beams from both staves.

See http://nwc-scriptorium.org/db/classical/r/rosovwt.html download the file and check out bar 4 and up around 227

Thanks for your NWC transcription, Lawrie. I think you had some troubles while transcripting this. Was it hard?
Well, I'm sorry that your beams doesn't connect correctly ;)

But, it helped me much. Many Thanx!

NWC2's Tempo indications are fairly simple, but you can usually "cobble up" something out of text and muted grace notes. The nwc attachment looks close enough for the cross-staff beaming. It requires that you set 'Highlight 2' to "white". IMO, NWC2 does a better job of distinguishing ties and slurs than your jpeg. Still, the ties on the bass line are a bit rough. If I were doing this for myself, I would probably change it to what you see in Topic 6889 rg02.png.

Hey, what happened to the original image?  I wanted to compare Rick's to it?

Original image? I just scanned a sheet od paper and Rick editted.
Wow... so difficult, so confusing, but the beams exactly match!
Really amazing for me whom haven't used NWC2 much.

Thanx for your edition. It's good.

G'day Sesirine,
what I meant was that the image in your first post had disappeared when I wrote my last message.  I notice it is back now so whatever happened has been resolved.

Sorry for any confusion

So, did you override stem length? Never did I dream!
Everything in NWC is applicable. REALLY GOOD.

I'm sure their are more than one way to skin a cat so I'm posting my solution along with a question. How does the performance of these two ways of notating the same measure affect either sound or performance?

A piano player will see this as a sustained, arpeggiated chord. Your upper method suggests that the first note is also part of the bass line. Your lower method is more ambiguous.

Soundwise, I would likely strike first note a bit harder in the upper method.

MIDI-wise, you notation is a little strange. Except for soustenuto effects, a piano is best represented as one MIDI channel.

This passage is simple enough that cross-staff beaming is not really needed. IMO, it is best used when you have melody played with the right hand, a counter melody (or rhythm) shared by both hands and a left hand bass line.  This happens a lot in piano music, especially in reductions of an instrumental ensemble with vocalists. This is usually what you get in popular music. It becomes difficult to figure out what notes belong to the vocalists.

Another problem is that an interior group that bounces back and forth between the staves looks rhythmically complex if it is notated separately on each staff. The player has to read the rests in one staff and the notes in the other.

The attachment shows a good use of cross-staff beaming. It is much easier to play than it would be with rests and flags interrupting the flow of things.
