Re: converting wma to mp3 Reply #1 – 2006-05-19 03:38 pm The wma format is well protected from copying and converting but there are programs that will do it.Wave pad does :There's a free and a professional (pay for it) version.Get both versions here : [ftp=ftp://http://nch.com.au/wavepad/masters.html]http://nch.com.au/wavepad/masters.html[/ftp] Quote Selected
Re: converting wma to mp3 Reply #2 – 2006-05-19 06:11 pm I am ignorant of the wma format and its use. (Showing my age, I suppose.)Regardless, if there is some way that the sound output from the wma player can be sent to an external amplifier or stereo, then it seems that one could use a utility such as "RIP Vinyl", or some such, to capture this sound output and save it as a WAV file, MIDI, MP3, etc. Then, of course, one could do whatever he wished.Comments please! Re: converting wma to mp3 Reply #3 – 2006-05-19 09:01 pm wma is windows media audio - playable with windows media player. If you have any recording software either with a "save as" function - or converts what it hears to mp3, that should do it. Quote Selected
Re: converting wma to mp3 Reply #4 – 2006-05-20 03:58 am Keep in mind that you won't be able to produce a midi file this way, and therefore can't create something to import into NWC. Quote Selected
