How do I keep it from holding notes for too long? 2005-03-16 06:13 am I have a section in a song where I tie a sixteenth note at the end of a measure to a dotted half note at the beginning of the next measure. My song is in 4/4 time, yet Noteworthy is holding the dotted half note for about two and a half measures! The part is being written for a hammond organ, but switching the instrument to something like a guitar or an acoustic piano seems to make Noteworthy "see" the note duration correctly. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Quote Selected

It's called a hanging note tie.You have to "accidentalize" the note in the second bar too.You can always find hanging accidentals by moving to the start of each staff, one at a time, and using find (Ctrl-F) to search for hanging note ties.
