Re: How do I do a time signature? Reply #1 – 22 years ago Also, how do I layer notes other than as a chord (I'm trying to input a five part fugue by Bach... it's counterpoint, so it doesn't line up) Quote Selected
Re: How do I do a time signature? Reply #2 – 22 years ago The shortcut to the time signature is the letter "g". To do 24/16 you can do the dialog under the "Insert" menu or "g24tab16Enter".Your 2nd question already had the magic word in it, "layer". With a staff selected, hit F2 and the tab "Visual". There will be a checkbox "Layer with next staff". Layering will not happen until "Page Setup" -> "Contents" has the "Allow Layering" box checked. A search for "layer" or "layering" in your documentation, F1 help, this forum, or user tips should be helpful. Quote Selected
Re: How do I do a time signature? Reply #3 – 22 years ago For time, simply type a "g" or, from the menu bar, select "insert" and towards the bottom you will see the menu item for time.Sounds as though you are looking for layering on multiple parts. Go to Noteworthy's help function to explain layering. You will find the help function to be quite good in regard to your types of questions. Quote Selected
