Length of staff

Is there anyway to make a staff that is longer than the default? I need about 30 minutes of music, but seem to only be able to compose 6 minutes and 10 seconds on a staff.

Silly question - but have you remembered to insert bar lines?

There's no time limit on the length of a tune in NWC, I don't think. I've just copied a segment onto the end of a staff several times, giving me one that takes 26 minutes to play. It seems to be working fine.

You are limited to 32,000 elements per staff. Each note, articulation marking, dynamic, bar line, etc., is an element. Is your score really "busy?"

Thanks for you input, I need a special type of midi file for a Scientific use, alas, 32000 notes will not do it. Your replys were very helpful.

How about putting 32,000 notes on one staff, 32,000 notes on another staff, 32,000 notes on another, etc.
Will this give you as many as you need?

And just what is it that you're doing anyway?
