General Discussion / Re: New Forum - Nice look.
Thanks for the report. Our site-wide search engine will still find links to old forum topics (intentionally), but no direct links to the old forum index should appear.

The converter, developed by Nicolas Hatier, can be found here:
http://www.niversoft.com/downloads/mxml2nwcc.zip
This converter takes an XML file and converts it to NWC.
Yes, and the "louder than usual" effect will occur in my layered example as well. (Note, the playback can't be right, as I have no idea what the key signature should be -- clearly lots of #s, given tha there is an accidental on a "B"!) The solution (which only works in the layered case) would be to mute the sixteenth note which is overlain by the quarter note -- thats demi-quavers and crotchets for those across the pond from New York.
Re Use111's last post:
Ah Ha! I didn't notice the notes which (effectively) overlap the bar-lines. The only way I can see to do that would be with layering and invisable (or missing?) bar lines, like so.
First, to the immediatly preceeding post, isn't the Chopin just a case of "implied triplets"? (Or, in this case, sextuplets.) Or is that what you mean by "Crossed time"?
Well, I can't check out the file in question (because it's a v2...), but here's something else bizarre for you to check out.
You can hit the stop button if you want it to stop before the end of the piece.
The next release of NWC2 will actually perform rests at the end of a work.
Additional changes to the forum include:
- The ability to edit any of your old posts, without a time limit
- Any member can post to any of the message boards that are visible to them, including those dedicated to NWC2
Regular members do not have access to most of the profile options. If you upgrade your account to NWC2 Tester, then you have access to the full compliment of profile options.Yeah, Eric, why can't we? Why don't you make ALL of the profile option accessible to ANY regular "Member"? On most other forums, MOST, if not ALL, of the profile options are accessible to ANY regular "Member"! And besides that, it is VERY LIKELY that the default settings of SMF allow any regular "Member" to access ALL of the profiles options and have no time limit for message-editing!

Sorry I was joking with you like that..I just wanted to let you know that if you buy the CD, you can get those options. BTW, was does that mean, is it German, Polish, Dutch, Italian, Pakistanian, Japanese??
Oh, and I forgot, If you aren't a registered user, then there is nothing I can do for you. Maybe Eric can buy you a FREE copy of the NWC CD, if you stop acting like you did in the previous forum topics, and beg him into giving you one. If not, too bad.

It's simple as that.

Yeah, I had one like that, but the wheels fell off.
And since it's an American song, I should have written 'flavor'.
I remember the Muppets using this song - very funny!

Hi 111. How is life?
Yes. We have received reports.
Please remove the time limit for edits.
[move]I disagree!!!! I think he is nice becuase when I need help with something in NWC, he helps me with it. And, yes, he is the masterman with NWC, he controls it all. And I think that is cool!

If I understand you correctly, you can use the Quote facility to see the contents/[abbr="bulletin board code"]BBC[/abbr] of a message.

QuoteThe jumps happen on the undo and redo operations only, with respect to the Automatic Beam, Transpose Staff, Force Accidentals, Audit Accidentals, Audit Enharmonic Spelling, Audit Note Stems operations. This is probably an intended safety feature. They don't happen when the initial operations are activated.Actually, the jump happens right after you use the following commands, but the screen won't refresh until you use undo or redo.
