Hello every body! I am ashamed to ask your help for the following question. As I never had the need, to create Guitar tablature for my musicians, I would be happy finally to learn the procedure to create them over a score, for my personal satisfaction. I tried first with a right click of the mouse, on the score chord, of course it does'nt work! I tried the same on the score names, as suggested in the procedure. Nihil! I finally opened, stupidly: "Tools", then "Manage Objects (ver 2.1) But I did not find the right way. Could you kindly help me in my first steps? Thank you very much indeed!!! Raffaele.
Thank you David! It's really fantastic. It's a further proof of the genious Bach. I'm spreading this link among all my contacts. It's a further proof of the genious Bach. Raffaele
Thank you very much to Rick and Warren for this very useful tool. As I'm not been following this Forum since almost one year, I'm discovering I have been loosing a lot of very useful suggestions and information. Thanks a lot again. Raffaele
For Haymo and Richard, maybe, for the time being, the only solution is to use the "Goto measure" if we need to verify the harmonic matching in the different scores. Thank you again for your suggestions.
Thank you very much to Richard and Haymo for your kind suggestions. Note for Haymo: however, as I am composing a music for a short film, I need, before trascribing the score with the appropriate symbol for tremolo, to control the right audio matching between drum and bass notes with precise photograms, as the calculation bpm/tempo doesn't matches exactly, as tempo varies in the middle of the music. This is the main reason why I am obliged to work out a first score respecting playback writing constraints.
Even I'm using NWC since 2005, I'm not still very confident with the new 2.5 NWC version, I started to use recently. As I found out a little fault in one staff of the orchestral score, I though there was an incoherence with the other instrument staffs. Meanwhile the other instrument staffs are completely visible up to the 78th measure, the last one (strings) enable a visibility up to the 76th one. So I have been Copying the faulting score in a new document (I'm attaching), the problem remains: the two last measures are not visible. I don't know if this question is due to the fact that the last measures are in sixty-fourth triplets. However, since the measures are respecting the 4/4 signature, I have some dubts about. Did some NWC 2.5 users find the solution to this unusual question? Thank you very much to everybody.
sorry if I made confusion between Rick (who told me about the pedal) and Richard, who suggested me to change channels... However thanks a lot again. Raffaele.
Hello everybody (sorry if I will not name every one in this post). I would like to recognise the quick delay of answers and the interest of each member of our community I am happy to be part of. Most of you have identifies different eventual causes. For ex. I do not use keyboards to write or listen my composition and my sound card is a banal ASUS notebook card! certainly not one of the best. However I noticed Richard answer was very useful (of course I will need to manage a bit better with a professional sound card) because deleting the pedal mark, the song line works perfect. So then, once again I express my sincere gratitude to each member who gave me their precious information. Kind Regards Raffaele (www.lesmusiciens.eu)
Yesterday I posted a message related to a song I am writing which includes a piano arpeggiato (1/32th duration notes). However the interference of the shorter notes piano arpeggiati makes the notes of the song line resulting as staccato. Lawrie Pardy, yesterday, suggested me to attach an excerpt of the written song. What I am doing. You will hear, as from the 7th beat, song notes will play as staccato. Of course, the dysfunction continues up to the end of the song. Did anybody have to face this question and already solve it? Thank you very much. Raffaele D'arcangelo
Hello everybody. I am composing a song which has a refrain with piano arpeggiato, like concerto mode (1/32nd notes duration). As the song notes varies between 1/2 and 1/8th duration, even I tied them with a slur, the song plays such the notes were staccato. Did somebody find the same problem and how did you eventually solve it? Thank you very much. Good night. Raffaele Turin (Italy)
I wrote approx. two years ago on this site, regretting in this useful software were missing some dynamic symbols. Now, after almost 6 months I have nont been using NWC, I am discovering the version 2 - the old experimental beta version. One more info: could somebody tell me if there is a way to insert the glissando symbol between two notes? Thank you!
Thank you indeed for your very useful notes on signs I didn't find originally. Sorry for the delay of my reply (just 5 months...) but I was away up yesterday.
Im' a new NWC user and I'm really happy with. However, as I'm preparing arrangements for my band, it seems to me that some useful signs are not available, as for example : repeating previous beam (./.) very useful for repeated arpeggios for guitar during all the music. This is only to avoid to have a 35 pages master (modern music) score simply for the space used for arpeggios.
