Repeat within repeat plays text incorrectly

Please see attached file 2-verses-with-repeated-part.nwc
The music of this song plays correct.
The text part of the two verses of this song should play

This is the first verse
This is part one of an ex-tra re-pe-ti-tion
This is part two of an ex-tra re-pe-ti-tion

This is the se-cond verse
This is part one of an ex-tra re-pe-ti-tion
This is part two of an ex-tra re-pe-ti-tion

However, it plays (and also puts text incorrectly in a MIDI file) as

This is the first verse
This is part one of an ex-tra re-pe-ti-tion
This is part two of an ex-tra re-pe-ti-tion

This is the se-cond verse
This is part two of an ex-tra re-pe-ti-tion
This is part two of an ex-tra re-pe-ti-tion

How can I get it to play the song (i.e. show the correct text lines) as intended?

You might try the attachment.
Edit: or not. Topic 9717 rg03.nwc seems to fit the bill.

Hi Rick,

Thank you for this nice workaround using multiple endings and layering.
One question though: the repeat indicator that I had between bar 2 and 3 in my original song is gone.
(How) Can I enter it so it will show up on a print?
