Custom buttons?

Is there any way to make custom toolbar buttons? There are several features that could be a lot more efficient to not have to click through a dropdown menu...

-automatic beam
-transpose staff
-audit note stems
-audit accidentals
-audit enharmonics
-force accidentals

The tools cannot be invoked via buttons.
Custom buttons can be created to 'fast insert' most notation items. They do not work on a selection.

Well, shoot.
NWC needs to include this option in future versions. I know that I would find these buttons extremely useful.
