loss of function from XP to vista

With Vista cannot start playing at any point where cursor is . With XP it was possible (F5 or F6 keys )
Help needed

Works fine on my Vista machine. Is this a new PC or just an upgraded operating system?

This box controls where the program starts the play back of an active score. You can elect to always start playback from the beginning of the score, or several places closer to the current insertion point.

AFAIK, the default is: 'from beginning' for a new install.
