Rogues Gallery

For those of you that do not frequent the newsgroup, you may like to take part in a fun quiz that we are running.

So often we get pre-conceived ideas of what people look like which later on we find to be complely from reality. Never more so than on the newsgroup and forum where we never usually get to see what someone looks like.

We have put together a rogues gallery . These are the faces of users from the newsgroup who we communicate with every day - But can you guess who they are just from their pictures.

If you would like to have your picture included, send it to me at the above e-mail address.

If you would like to guess at the names, send your list to me as well. For the moment, I will only reveal how many right or wrong you have. After I think that I have received all of the photos, I will add in a list of names for you to choose from.

Well we have our first guess from the rogues gallery pictures.
It's From Joseph Guix. Thanks for responding Joseph.

In the style of the mastermind game, forgetting about my picture at 00 which was given to you (Ha Ha), Joseph managed to get 4 correct with a further
two in the wrong position.

Better luck next time Joseph.

I know that there are a number of people who are intending to s™ºHtheir photo in so I won't publish names just yet.

In answer to a question that I was asked, even though the page is called "Newsgroup Rogues Gallery" you don't have to participate in the newsgroup to get your photo included.
Forum users are equally welcome.

Send in those piccies.

In a few days time, I will put up the list of names from which you can make your guesses. So if you're thinking of taking part, send in the photos soon.

Well - things seem to have quietened down with the Rogues Gallery so I think that it is nearly time to add a list of names to the faces so that you all can put in your guesses.

So This coming weekend 21/22 July I will add a list of names to the gallery. If you still want to submit a photo, please try and do it before then or at least let me know that one is on the way.

The Rogues Gallery has been updated today. It's been updated with one photo of an NWC user and one photo of what I am sure is not a user of NWC although the owner assures me that she's quite musical and she will dance in the dressage to wonderful classics someday.

So we have an additional quiz. Find the owner of the pet. (BTW it's mug 35 that's the pet - none of the other mugs :-)

Only one more user has promised a photo before the weekend so it looks like the list of names will be Saturday or Sunday.

Well folks,

The Rogues Gallery has been updated today. I am waiting for one more photo to come in and then I'll list the names and the competition can start.

Well the final photo has arrived and I'm all ready to release all the names but the Scripto server is feeling a bit poorly at the moment.
