NWC to Finale

Is there any way to convert .nwc files to Finale Notepad .mus files?

For some reason Finale Notepad plays so much better with my sound card then Noteworthy, but Finale is so much slower...
(Dont worry I'm not switching):-)

The usual way is NoteWorthy->MIDI->Finale.
Since you just want better playback, this should work well.
Usually, you get a cleaner MIDI Export if you add a Performance Style of tenuto to the beginng of each NoteWorthy staff.

I'm assuming that "Finale Notepad plays so much better"  because you are fixing n-tuplets or adding controller changes not available in NoteWorthy. If not, you should investigate why Finale sounds better. Perhaps you need to tinker with your NoteWorthy configuration.

Finale Notepad uses it's own format only.  It is not possible to convert without going through a paid version of Finale the way Rick described.

I would check which MIDI device Finale Notepad is using and compare it with NWC - my bet is that they are different and NWC is configured to use an inferior synth.
I plays 'Bones, crumpets, coronets, floosgals, youfonymums 'n tubies.
