"rooftop" accents 2006-02-16 09:37 pm I was just wondering if a future version of Noteworthy will support rooftop accents. Currently I just use the text function to place a carot ("^") above or a "v" below the note, but a real solution would be nice.I was happy to find out that version 2 had graphic cresendos and diminuindos. The only other thing I'd like to see is a gliss symbol added in. Quote Selected
Re: "rooftop" accents Reply #1 – 2006-02-17 07:43 am Strangely enough, this is one of the mysteries of NoteWorthy (for me anyway !)The ^ character has been in NoteWorthy's default font for as long as I can remember but it has never been usable functionally. It is in position 42 Hex, 66 ASC (Capital B). This can only be used as a text item if you assign the NoteWorthy font as a user font. Quote Selected

Re: "rooftop" accents Reply #3 – 2006-02-22 08:44 am No flaming intended; it just made me smile: forget about the correct spelling of 'cresendos and diminuindos', but the 'carot' was worth the smile mentioned. It must be a caret in red. Quote Selected
