Re: keyboard shortcuts Reply #3 – 2005-02-24 05:36 pm I also found that bar line attributes can be changed by selecting the bar line and then using Shift+Ctrl+ Up or Down. Quote Selected

Re: keyboard shortcuts Reply #5 – 2005-02-25 06:33 am Gary, are you running version 1 or the public preview version 2? It doesn't work on 1 but does on 2. Quote Selected
Re: keyboard shortcuts Reply #6 – 2005-02-25 11:53 pm Ah, that would explain it- I'm in version 1.I never bothered with version 2 because I woulda had to buy the last version 1 on CD first, and I [abbr=one should NEVER assume...]assumed[/abbr] that the real version 2 would be out shortly, and I didn't want to deal with installing the preview in May and then the real version in July/August/whenever.Little did I know that NWC was setting us up for a looonnnggg tease... Re: keyboard shortcuts Reply #7 – 2005-02-26 04:04 am It is a long tease, isn't it? I was privileged to be part of the private betatest, and for me, the tease was around a year longer than perhaps for you.I think you should go for the public preview now, it will make life so much easier. The last time I looked at http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/nwc2/#availability , I got the distinct idea that when version 2 is finally released, you won't have wasted your money. Quote Selected
Re: keyboard shortcuts Reply #8 – 2005-02-27 11:18 pm If I get the public preview now, it will finally be released in two weeks.I will just have to [abbr=...and wait, and wait...]wait[/abbr]... Quote Selected
Re: keyboard shortcuts Reply #9 – 2005-02-28 12:00 am I've found the Shift-Ctrl-Up and S-C-Down also works on clefs. As expected, it doesn't work on notes, rests or anything that uses the "Expression Placement" tab. That leaves time signatures, key signatures and the special endings (first-time, second-time etc), but nothing happens.I suspect S-C-Up and S-C-Down will only be implemented for items that have a fixed position on the staff, and that have a finite (i.e. small), well-defined set of choices. Time signatures currently have 596 choices, key signatures have 2217 choices (although 30 are repeats), and special endings have 256 choices.Bar lines have just eight choices (although one of these has 249 sub-choices!) and clefs have just five main choices (although each of these has three more sub-choices). The bar-line sub-choice is always set to default by S-C-up/down, and the clef sub-choice isn't altered. Quote Selected
