Reply #1 – 2005-01-06 06:05 pm In practice, in NWC, there's no difference between poco dim and dim, poco cresc and cresc, etc. (Same applies to accel. and ritard.)The degree of change in dynamic is purely dependent upon the distance from the dim/cresc to the next dynamic marking. (I assume dim and decresc work the same here.) In fact, a dim from p to f, for example. is really a crescendo.Are you looking for something other than a linear change?
