Can someone help me? Please? IM pretty new...

Hey...Thanks for taking the time to read this. When i print my song, it only prints one grand staff and then goes off the page...so i can only print like the first 3 measures of my song...Then it goes off the page...can someone help me? i want to be able to make it so that it looks like REAL music...a Staff, and then a Staff below it? so fourth....thanks !

NWC should print normally (staff below another) by default. The only cases are that your measures aren't separated with bar lines, or all your measures aren't of the same length.

So, make sure all measures have bar lines, and if you have multiple staves, check that all bar lines are at the same place in time.

Hi New User 123

If the bar lines in the top and bottom staffs of a piano part don't line up, it's because you've not entered the same number of beats in each bar.  Make the upper staff an Upper Grand Staff, and the lower staff a Lower Grand Staff, then press Home.  Move to the right until you see the first place where the bar lines don't line up.  The bar just before that is where your mistake is.

You also mentioned a printing problem - it seems as if you likely have one very long bar - NWC won't wrap a line in the middle of a bar, and it doesn't recognize a text character that looks like a bar line - you have to add the bar line that comes with the program.

Keep in mind that the Edit window is a working screen and does not accurately reflect how the song will print.  The staffs (also called systems) don't wrap in the Edit window but will do so in Print Preview.

I suggest you always use the Print Preview feature before printing, because there will often be some tweaking to do before printing.
