NWC Version 2.0

Goodness! Dis iss vonderful!  (spoken with a really bad German accent).

It even uses the new graphics when you use it to open a version 1.x song file, how cool is that?

I love the new 'hairpins' too, but is there any way to put them in where you want them without putting in a note at the same time?

When the final version comes out will it be an upgrade type thing or a new proggy type thing?  Don't get me wrong, I'll gladly shell out some clams for what is basically a new (and really good) program.

Thanks for all your hard work (I've done programming so I know whereof  I speak).

Have fun and keep the goodies coming.  :-)

I love it too! The music looks so much better. I like the appearance of the new slurs. One thing I'd like to be improved upon is that when I enter a dynamic, I want it to work for both staves instead of just one. When you play the piano it is usually common for the same dynamic on each hand. I hate having to put a dynamic for each stave, it looks bad.

"I hate having to put a dynamic for each stave, it looks bad."

Easily fixed. Place the first dynamic on the left hand, then move it up (control/shift/up arrow) so that it corresponds to the one on the right hand. After that all dynamics will take the same position.

It may be common to show the same dynmamics for both hands, but it is better to play differnt dynamics in each hand. Hide the dynamics you don't want to see. If you are a perfectionist, you can use layering and really control the voicing of your chords as you would when playing.

Thanks, but I don't know how to hide the second one! Can you please tell me how?

1. Highlight the dynamic.
2. Press alt+Enter.
3. Set visibility to Never.

If you own a registered copy of Noteworthy composer 1.75a or b, you can try it out.  You will need some info of the disk to prove you registered, and then you get to download the sample.
