Please, I am looking for a font that has characters  I can use for International Phonetic Alphabet [IPA] transcription, help me if you have an idea of where I can get it or what I can do.

If you are looking for IPA fonts that will show the full IPA character set as lyrics within NWC, that might be hard to do. No single one-byte font does the job, and even some of the one-byte fonts place characters in strange code locations.

That said, there are a number of fonts (some free) that have the most common IPA symbols in ordinary locations. These can be used as lyrics within NWC. For a start, if you have a good word processing program, you may find that such a font is included in the font pack that came with it. But it won't be called "IPA."

If your need is general-purpose, browse the Internet for "Summer Institute of Linguistics IPA fonts." They have a couple of free IPA fonts. But the full package, which I suppose covers every IPA symbol, is not free.

The most comprehensive listing of where to find all kinds of font, free and commercial, is (to my knowledge) by Luc DeVroye (spelling?) at McGill University. Unlike ad-sponsored sites that flash banners at you, Luc's site just provides links and a good description of what's there.
