Automatic Chord Structure

I wonder if there a way to determine a chord structure automatically in my four-part harmony vocal notations?

NWC will not do this at present. I believe Capella-software's "Tonica" will synthesise and analyse four-part harmonies.

One thing about a chord-recognition program: a simple one, which would work like a spell-check program, might save a little time, but so much of chord naming is dependent on context that it would get a lot of things wrong. The same group of notes would be called Cm6, Am7b5 (or Aø7), or even F9, depending on context.

A context-sensitive harmony machine, more like a grammar check, would take a LOT of programming (costing money) and still not cover every situation or preference. Noteworthy is not very good even at covering enharmonics yet, but it's a great notation program just the same.

This is the old-fart approach, I know. I like a spell-checker to catch typos, I usually don't like what a grammar checker says about my prose, and I believe no program can really spare you the trouble of educating yourself.
