Alignment problem

In a piece I'm currently writing, the piano has B (middle line), D, E, G in the right hand, and G octaves in the left.  The D is aligned above the left-hand Gs, but the B, E, and G should be aligned above the left-hand Gs.  Is there some "setting" or some "option" I'm missing out on?  I really would like my printouts to look like the scores of scores sitting on my shelves.

Thanks

Hm... you're right. Alignment is presently at the left-most members of a chord containing seconds, whereas most scores align with the right-most members.

There is no setting that you can change to alter this behaviour. My recommendation would be to submit a feature request to the Wish List, in hopes that this will be changed in a future update.

Ya know what else I noticed doesn't look the same?  Augmentation dots.  They are supposed to be centered between the staff lines, whether they are on a "line" note or a "space" note.  They seem to touch the line, either above or below.  I'm hopin' v1.8 will fix that...
