Can´t recording Midisignals from Keayboard (Casio WK-1600)

I´ve been thrue all settings in my cumputer (OS Win MW), and selected the right midi-device (Midilink).

I don´t know if it´s the keyboard och the PC that occurs the problems.

Check the cables that connect the Casio keyboard to your MIDI interface.  This can be confusing, but the direction (in or out) shown on the MIDI jacks is the direction the MIDI signal is taking into or out of that port on that device.  So, the Out jack on your interface should connect to the MIDI In jack on your Casio, likewise the MIDI Out jack on your Casio should connect to the In jack on your interface.  Not to insult  anyone's intelligence, I'm the king of crossed wires!  : )  If that doesn't  work, post your setup in detail to the forum and someone can steer you straight.

Regarding acronyms, I thought I'd better post a follow-up PDQ, or at least ASAP, though I won't be offended if no one RSVPs! :)  The MIDI interface is the "box" that connects your MIDI piano keyboard to your computer, usually with 5-pin standard MIDI cables, though some newer MIDI piano keyboards such as MIDIman's Keystation 49 and 61 can connect directly to your computer's USB port (Universal Serial Bus, alphabet soup again!) without needing any additional hardware such as a MIDI interface.  HTH
