the instrument choices

hi there everybody! i just downloaded the free version to try it out, and i haven't played with it too much just yet, but i notice when i start a new song, i only get 4 options for instrument: piano, quartet, satb, vocalacc. with the full version are there more choices?

They are templates. With either the evaluation or the full version, you can build your own templates by simply saving your NWC file (with desired settings) to the \TEMPLATE folder. Or you can get a few from the Scriptorium.

Your instrument choices are a function of your sound card's MIDI synthesizer. Your sound card, at the least, should support the 128 General MIDI instruments. You can try these from Staff Properties (press F2 while in whatever staff you want to change).
