Volume/dynamics defaults 2002-09-11 04:43 am I've been trying to do smooth crescendos & decrescendos, but I'm having trouble setting the start and end volumes and making them match the sections before and after. Are there default volumes for each dynamic? Like pp=15, p=30, etc.? I understand that to do a smooth crescendo, I need to set an override volume before and after. Does a pianissimo with a volume override of 50 have the same volume as a fortissimo with a volume override of 50? Or are these override values relative to the dynamic selected? Quote Selected

I know (at least on my setup) that the MIDI volume is always set to 127 on a new song. Is this suppose to be equivalent to FFF? Seems to equal about FF on my system. Quote Selected
