Slurs on groups of adjacent notes?

Is this possible? I have two descending G major arpeggios, one starting a chord tone below where the other did, as groups of sixteenth notes, and I'd like to notate it as two somewhat distinct phrases.

Actually, never mind. I just answered my own question. I put a sixty-fourth rest between them and slurred it and unslurred it and deleted it and now it works... Hmmm... Ok, I have a new question: can someone tell me what I did? =) I'm lost. Basically, what's the easiest way to make two adjacent groups of slurred notes? On my first try (back when I knew what I was doing), the two groups got slurred together no matter what I tried.

When slurring, select all but the last note you want slurred, then invoke the slurring tool (or press semicolon). This allows full control over slur groupings.

Thanks, Fred. I actually figured it out (or remembered it, rather) on my way to class this morning. I was trying to get that in the middle of the night, and I guess my brain just fell asleep or something =).
