Rather than using your computer (or MIDI keyboard) for that purpose, I suggest that you simply buy professionally-made CD recordings of the instrumental tracks. Broadway musicals are very popular for that.

For example, I have a CD intended for the bass-baritone voice. It contains selections from Oklahoma, Camelot, and a few others. Each track is offered with instrumental alone, and with a singer backed by the same instrumental track. The CD comes with the sheet music. One outfit that makes such CDs is "Music Minus One," and I am sure there are others.

The CD I have is intended for a regular CD player, but perhaps there are karaoke-machine versions too. If you don't have a local music store that carries such CDs, then try an Internet search.
