Printer problem

Hi!
Just recently I've changed both drum and toner for the laser printer "Panasonic KX-P4410". But I still have one problem that is when a paper starts to feed in, the roller stops turning or sometimes it roll but does not feed the paper in. I've tried to over come the problem by cleaning the roller and also the bottom block which sits beneath the roller. This problem is happening for about four months.
Do you think the relay which trigger the roller not operating properly?
Thanks

Uh, this forum is visited primarily by people who are interested in one particular brand of music software. You might find people more interested in, or knowledgeable about, printer hardware, elsewhere: The manufacturer's site, hardware repair forums or newsgroups, even neighborhood bars.

Stephen is correct, of course, but let's keep it friendly. I had a similar problem with my old Kyocera F1000 laser printer a few years back, and I tried everything to stop it happening, from increasing the upward pressure in the paper tray, to swapping the rubber rollers with the printer at work (!) and it still didn't do the trick. In the end, I realised that the main reason for it was that the place I kept the printer and paper was DAMP and this was preventing the paper from being picked up properly. As the mechanism was expecting to receive paper a certain time after the rollers started rotating, but didn't, it switched itself off and displayed a paper jam fault. I've since kept my computer/organ room nice and warm, and have never had any further problems. Another reason for your jams could be the thickness of the paper - my Kyocera will only take stuff heavier than about 100gsm by manual feed.

I have a panasonic kx-p4410 and my problem is: it says toner empty and it is a new toner. Now it will not print as it keeps saying toner empty. Can you help. Thank you.

Even regular NWC users might have a problem with something else, and come here for advice. Presumably, others with similar interests are likely to face the same problems.

But I don't think that's what's going on here. If one owns, let's say, an "Acme Mark III Gerbil Feeder" and runs out of food pellets, the logical thing to do is go to a search engine and type in "Acme Mark III Gerbil Feeder." The search engine will deliver any page it has found that has those words. The NWC forum has been in business for years, and is regularly crawled by search engines. Thus, an outside user - who does not know that this is a music software site - need only click on the search engine's link to be led directly into the forum thread in which the Gerbil Feeder was mentioned. After a while, so many Gerbil Feeder enthusiasts respond that the forum goes higher on the search engine results.

If you don't believe me, wait a few months, then try "Acme Mark III Gerbil Feeder" on a search engine such as Google. Watch this forum thread pop up!

It may pop up, but this kind of thing is so far removed from NWC on a computer, we would definately kill it (either the replies or the whole thread, depending on the thread).

Just for fun, today (July 30, 2001) I searched for "Acme Mark III gerbil feeder" using the Google search engine. Sure enough, this thread showed up!

NWC can kill the thread if it wants, but the above is not a real product, so I don't think that many pet enthusiasts will be finding their way here.
