know whether anyone has or knows of any sites that contain
nwc. files for download, preferebly popular music.

I have already gone to the NWC Scriptorium site but it doesnt contain very popular music.

Please if anyone knows of any sites

Because of copyright issues most public post sites tend to avoid songs on which copyright still exists.
Unfortunately they become a repository of older out-of-copyright works and the occasional excellent piece of original contemporary work.

Barry's remark is very appropriate. There is a tendency among Internet users to assume that everything is free. Even "free" (at no charge) items often come with restrictions on use. Also, a lot of items that can be downloaded are not at all "free," merely easy to find.

Popular music, and recent compositions of any kind, are almost certainly not free. There is a good chance that if you come across something popular -- for example, sheet music for a Beatles song -- it has been placed on the Internet in violation of copyright. Hobbyists sometimes do this, and it appears that in some cases the copyright holders look the other way if there seems to be no harm done. But that does not mean that the item is free and legal.

Some artists intentionally make their works freely available. The copyright holder (originator) is merely extending rights to other persons, often under restricted conditions. To put this another way, if something is actually free, it may still be copyrighted and usually is.
