mid to cd audio

i need to convert music recorded in mid format on a yamaha
disklavier to wav so that it can beburned onto a cd rom
to play as regular music on a conventional cd audio player

can anyone suggest how to go about doing this

also, does it have to be in wav format to make it play
on a regular cd music player

Most CD burner software requires that input be in .wav format. So once you've recorded your midi as a .wav, 44.1 kHz Stereo 16-bit, you should be home free.

I've tried an excelent software: it is Audio Compositor. You can use large soundfount files to give your songs really good sound (instruments), no matter your soundcard is poor.
I cant remember the website, but you could search with any search engine.
Once you get the .wav file, just burn it to CD.
