[Main section]Intro - main tune - secondary tune[trio section] in contrasting mood, often a more majestic tuneshort lead-in - main tune - secondary tune[reprise main section][optional reprise trio main tune] (especially if it's good)Then, as for rhythms, keep in mind that marching feet need a very strong one-two pulse, and that syncopation should be used carefully, especially across barlines.
