adding song titles

Is there a way to add song titles in the middle of a piece? I was arranging a medley and wanted to place the names of the songs at the beginning of each, but found I was unable to. I tried to use the Lyric function, but that didn't work very well, as it tried to follow the note patterns and messed up the spacing.

Enter them as plain text, positioned above the stave.
Place the cursor at the position you want the text, pess
X, and enter your text string in the "Expression" box.
Adjust the Staff Position (0 is the centre, 7 is above
the staff). Turn off Preserve Width if you want to allow
notes to appear directly under your text.
