midi keyboard entry onto stave 2000-05-30 04:00 am When entering notes on the stave from a midi keyboard in the key of C and playing a Bb note, why do I get an A with a # on the stave instead of a B with a b against it. - I don't get the problem with the pc keyboard entry.Can I change this somehow or do I have to use manual entry for all accidentals.Your help would be appreciated. Re: midi keyboard entry onto stave Reply #1 – 2000-05-31 04:00 am NWC favors sharps when the piece is in the key of C, or any key that includes a sharp. If you are in a flat key, it will favor flats.
