NoteWorty 2 ?

I saw an advert in CMQ for NoteWorthy 2. Is this a new version of NoteWorty Composer... or something else ?

Our latest NWC release is version 1.30f. Your official source for announcements about our products is from our press releases, published first right here on our web site.

I hope this helps.

So what was the advert in the recent Church Music Quaterly about ? Is it not your product... in which case the advert is very mis-leading ?

I also saw the ad for Noteworthy 2 in a recent issue of Classical Music magazine and, being a true convert to Noteworthy Composer, thought I had missed out on an upgrade. So I telephoned the company concerned only to find that it is a completely different product - the main difference apparently being that it does not play back from the score. It would also seem to be more restrictive in its capabilities than "our" Noteworthy. Hope this helps!

I use NWC fairly often. Great program, particularly since the licence was so reaonable. I'm running version 1.30b Couple of fixes I would like to see include
(a) Dynamic keyboard command d would be easier to use if the dynamic window opened right away, instead of having to click on it.
(b) Would like to have toggle to have middle line note stems default to the down position - this is often easier to read, is more common in band music. It's a nuisance to have to change the stems on each B.
(c) Any chance of getting a tent accent sometime?
(d) Any chance of formatting grace notes so they aren't as pronounced as normal notes?
(e) Any way to insert multi-bar rests in one bar? No good for full score, but great for individual parts.
(f) Any chance of being able to force a line break (- may require proportional spacing like "justifying" in a word processor)
(g) There are only 12 tempo text expressions - many more are needed for modern music.
(h) Now I'm getting fancy - any way to draw dynamics such as cresc. and dim.?

(g) Any chance of being able to use other fonts in "insert text" and of inserting bar numbers without having them count from the beginning -i.e. if I write a part with a eight bar rest starting in bar 9, if I ask Scorebuilder to insert bar numbers, the next bar will be bar 10, not 17.
(h) Can we get a single bar repeat and double bar repeat symbol, please?
(i) More dynamic expressions, please, such as fp sfz etc.
