Two-line titles 1999-03-23 05:00 am I know I've seen the answer to this somewhere on this website before, but I can't seem to find it. I want to make a two-line title for some printed NWC scores, e.g.My Dog Has Fleas(and so do I)I know there's a way to enter some control characters to make the title come out this way and I can't seem to find what they are. Can somebody give me a quick reminder? Quote Selected
Re: Two-line titles Reply #1 – 1999-03-23 05:00 am No control characters can be made to do this. You can, however, add text early on in the top staff which appear to blend with the title. See https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=361 and https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=873. Quote Selected
Re: Two-line titles Reply #2 – 1999-03-24 05:00 am See the user tip at http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/composer/usertip2.htm#authleftI suggest adding the text last, not early, because any new notation at the beginning of the song, point size change, margin change, etc. can cause your title to move. Re: Two-line titles Reply #3 – 1999-03-25 05:00 am Hi Dave - for total freedom in printing headings you can print then using your word processor. Then feed the printed page back into your printer, select page setup in NoteWorthy, on the options tab untick the "Title page info" box and in the Margins tab set the top margin to 2 inches or whatever you need to miss your headings. Then print the score. Re: Two-line titles Reply #4 – 1999-03-26 05:00 am If you have MS Word, you can edit the image, and add the second line then, but be careful, as the leading half of slurs/ties seems to disappear. (I don't have any other word processing s/ware to try it out on...) Quote Selected
