8 va octave notation

Does NWC have the 8 va notation and capability. I cannot seem to find it. Jack D

Not as such.

You can either insert a clef with an octave shift, or you can fudge an 8va by inserting a new instrument patch with an octave transposition.
At the point where the 8va ends, insert another instrument patch with no transposition.

The display of "8va" and associated lines can then be added as text if you wish, however, this is awkward to line up properly for printing purposes.

Okay, thanks. That explains why I could not find it in the help directory. Thanks for the hints.
