Move 2.5 to new computer

When 2.0 was in preview, I paid the $15 for the 1.75b CD. Since then I have installed all the upgrades to 2.5 on my old computer. That computer died, and I am trying to install 2.5 on the new computer. I successfully installed 1.75b, but cannot figure out how to get to 2.5 without paying another $15. (It would be worth another $15, if that is my only option.) I searched the forums for upgrade info but, while most of the links still work, they don't do what the forum entry says they should do.

On another note, I found an old post of mine at https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=4903.msg30651#msg30651. I tried to make this post a reply to that one, but reply didn't seem to be an option. Do threads get "closed/locked" after a certain time?

No. The lock status can be changed by the Admin or the owner of the topic. Those who reply to topics that they did not start (own) are limited to "Modify" and "Remove".
