more visibility

I want to make a song. The 5 staff lines should be better visible, so I want to have thicker (fatter?) lines.
How do I do that?

As of the current version (2.1), the thickness is fixed.

It may help to print in better than draft quality (or use a different printer).
It is possible to save each page as EMF in Print Preview. In theory, the lines could be made thicker by editing the emf file.
