Playing the sounds in my Proteus VX

Hello.

I was wondering how I could score the music, then play it back while having NW use the sounds from my Proteus VX.

Is this possible or if I should need to use a sequencer, then which version would be the best?

G'day NVal,
welcome tot he forum.

Now, the Proteus works fine (I have it running on this machine). You will need a "soft cable" to connect NWC to Proteus - something like MIDI Yoke available from: http://www.midiox.com/

Setup Proteus to listen on one of the 8 MIDI Yoke ports, and NWC to output on the SAME MIDI Yoke port.

Now for the caveat... The Proteus is NOT General MIDI therefore instrument selections do not correspond between GM and the Proteus. But I guess you already know that...
