"tick-mark" barline in chant notation?

I'm excited to be able to use [modern] chant notation by overriding the stem length (value = 0) in NWC2.  Now, I'm wondering if it's possible to somehow use a small "tick-mark" barline (i.e. only goes through the top line of the staff).  Any ideas?  Thanks!

Set the barlines to Visibility:Never and insert a Text "|" before it, Centered At Next Note/Bar.
