zooming in Preview

Hi all happy NWC users,

I'd just want to know your opinion about the zoom in Print/Preview.
On a slow computer (slow means a 486-dx2-66 now), when you're displaying only a part of the page, you can notice a freeze-time that must correspond to the off-window display.
This is not very troublesome, but when I use the scrollbars, it doesn't scroll as I expect to (I supposed that clicking on the arrow would scroll a tenth of the display, and clicking on the scrollbar would move half the display (or 9/10th)). This becomes somewhat lengthy to display the particular zone I want to, especially as the place where you click onto doesn't matter for the new position. In fact the new zoomed position corresponds exactly to the scrollbar indexes current settings.
Is that kind of behaviour annoying someone else ?

By the way, using keystrokes would be great in that part too :-)

NWCly yours,

Yes, it should zoom around the place you click rather than the top left corner. I click on the spot because I want a closer look at it, then it disappears from view. Also, the window should be sizable so I can use as much as the screen as possible, and it should remember the window position for the next time I enter Print Preview. Maybe it should remember the position in the music it was looking at too. Then I could toggle between making a change and seeing the effect.

Those are (reasonable) wishes. I can dream of a modeless preview window that is visible and shows updates while I make changes in the score.

Yes, zooming on where I click would be much more useful.
Remembering position would be neat, too.
