Downloading & Printing MIDI files. 1999-04-24 04:00 am I am new to this phase of music, is it possible to downloand and print other MIDI files from other sources, transpose and edit music with Net Worthy Composer? Quote Selected
Re: Downloading & Printing MIDI files. Reply #1 – 1999-04-24 04:00 am It is very easy. Just click on File/Import and then follow the prompts. After importing, transposition can be done by menu ("Tools, transpose") or just by highlighting and moving the highlighted notes up and down (shift/control + arrow key). Some tinkering may be needed after transposing to reflect key shifts.Text and lyrical items contained in preexisting music will not import into NWC format and typically need to be added manually. Hope that helps.Hope that helps. Quote Selected

Reply #3 – 1999-04-26 04:00 am Note: correct URL for strings.txt is http://homepages.infoseek.com/~marsu/strings.txt (without the ',' at the end).About transposing, see also online help (very complete), plus https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=154 , https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=203 , https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=2 , https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=408 Do not neglect to download the offline forum ( http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/nwcforum/offline/nwcforum.exe , see on the top "Go offline" link), it's a pretty precious tool ;-)MAD Quote Selected
