Triplets

I know you can make triplets. But how do you make a quadruplet, cinquadruplet, ... or however you call it?

I often come to the conclusion I have to use a triplet + doublet just to form a cinquadruplet. And I wanted all 5 notes to be played at equal tempo.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! I have no idea how to make NWC play duplets correctly. I added it to the wishlist several times. You should put it on the wishlist too. The more people who put it on the wishlist, the sooner the feature will be added to NWC. And we won't have to pound our heads on the wall anymore trying to make it work.

You can fake the playback of altered time notes with hidden tempo changes before and after them.

To play back duplets (2 in the time of 3) you can mute the visible notes, insert hidden rests between them, then use a playback staff with sounding dotted notes.

IE.  Visible staff:

Time signature 6/8
Dotted quarter note
Text based bracket for duplet sign
Eighth note (muted)
Sixteenth rest (hidden)
Text based number 2
Eighth note (muted)
Sixteenth rest (hidden)
Text based bracket for duplet sign

Hidden staff,
Time signature 6/8
Dotted quarter note (muted)
Text based bracket for duplet sign
Two dotted eighth notes (not muted)
