, but where do you find drum kits in the program, i cant find them in midi. thanks.

Just go to staff properites on the the MIDI tab change the staff to channel 10.

G'day elham,
we could really use some more information on what you've already tried but here goes...

In your normal Windows volume controls (either Windows standard or whatever has been installed by your sound card) make sure that MIDI is turned up and not muted.

In Noteworthy itself, make sure you have an output device selected... Go to:
Tools | Options | Midi tab

Look at the devices used by playback. It is a good idea to have only one playback device. Make sure that the one that is selected is working. For testing purposes you could select "Microsoft MIDI Mapper" or "Microsoft GS Wavetable". Make sure you don't select your sound cards MIDI port.
