I would like to make sheet music of my compositions by playing them on my guitar DI into the computer. Does this software do this and how? I have been trying for days.

Stevie,

This is actually a very complex process that you want here.
1) something to convert the sound in your guitar to discreetly identified notes (note on and note off).
2) something to convert the stream of notes into notation

You would need an analog-to-midi device on your guitar to do step one. These devices are available, though I wouldn't know what to recommend. I'm sure they have variable success.

Noteworthy Composer can help you with the second step. If your music is simple, NWC should cope well, with some tweaking. However if the music is too fast or too "thick" or too free-form with tempo, it will not work satisfactorily.
