Re: Apple Mac Reply #1 – 21 years ago Sorry, NoteWorthy Composer is a Windows-only program. I have a PC at home and an i-Mac at school where I teach elementary music. I have found Myriad software's Harmony Assistant and Melody Assistant to be very good on Mac. Go to http://www.myriad-online.com/enindex.htm to download a free demo of either or both. Quote Selected
Re: Apple Mac Reply #2 – 21 years ago you can also look into a PC emulator for your macintosh. The Bochs emulator is free (http://bochs.sourceforge.net). You would then only need a copy of Windows. I'm working on setting bochs up on OS 8.6 and I'll see what happens and will report back. Quote Selected

Re: Apple Mac Reply #4 – 21 years ago Well I got Bochs to work on my WGS 9650/233 (i know -- its old). After first cheating by installing it first on my PC, I copied the virtual hard drive to my mac. Start up time for Windows 95? 8 Minutes! - So its not worth it :-( Quote Selected
Re: Apple Mac Reply #5 – 20 years ago You can purchase Virtual PC to run on a mac, then use NWC. Try using Sibelius instead!! NWC really should be made available to we mac users - our sound is so superior!!! Quote Selected
