Re: noteworthy to finale Reply #1 – 2005-01-19 08:48 am Really, that is a question you should ask in a Finale-forum. The answer is a resounding no, though. Quote Selected
Re: noteworthy to finale Reply #2 – 2005-01-19 08:58 am Doesn't Finale have some sort of optical character recognition system? If so perhaps you could print the NWC part and then scan it into Finale? On the other hand, I doubt if there's really a need to transfer the file to Finale now that NWC2 is available. I find NWC is far easier to use and is very flexible, compared to the steep, steep, steep learning curve of Finale. There's very little that I can't do in NWC. Quote Selected
Re: noteworthy to finale Reply #3 – 2005-01-19 10:46 am Thanks for the speedie replies guys,,, I only ever use NWCas I`m in the A cappella community, but unfortunately,I have been asked to submit arrangements in that format. (Finale) I just loaded NWC 2 today (its great) I have tried the recognition software on Finale but it won`t read the .tif files I`ve created, I`ll keep trying however, Thanks again... Quote Selected

Re: noteworthy to finale Reply #5 – 2005-01-20 08:15 am I believe Sharpeye (although I've only used it briefly) requires monochrome .tif files - it can't read colour or even greyscale. Perhaps Finale is the same.Robin Quote Selected
