Is it possible to do THIS in NWC?

I've experimented with the pitch bend MPC forever and I've still yet to find a way to reproduce this kind of effect. Is it possible to do this with Noteworthy Composer (given you have enough time and effort to do all the math), or is it one of those "Ditch NWC and get Cakewalk" type things?

Wouldn't know. But if, in fact, your primary interest is in certain kinds of audio effects, then you should get a program (e.g. Cakewalk) specifically intended for that purpose. I actually had Cakewalk first, then got NWC, because I did NOT need most of Cakewalk's feaures, and DID need those in NWC. Many users have both.

I'm not sure if you're trying to emulate a slidewhistle or a fretless electric guitar.

AFAIK, the closest you'll get to the effect is with MPC's as you've already tried.  Maybe you'll have better success if you insert the right instrument patch?

I'm trying to get the crazy, Pitch-bending electric guitar effect from that point until the end of the tune.

Yeah, it's done with MPCs.  Too bad NWC can't import them so you can see what's going on.  When "ict" is imported, you get a really long note (unbent) followed by some shorter ones (all unbent).  The extent of a bend is a Major third (up a whole step to down a whole step, or vice versa).  If you wanna go bigger, it becomes very complicated...
