MIDI 2005-05-02 11:27 pm When you click on Tools, and Options, then the Record Tab.. what does the Input Device mean? I think it has something to do w/ recording with MIDI, but im not sure what to put in that blank to enable me to record from my keyboard. If it matters, I have a Yamaha P-90 keyboardThanks a lot! Re: MIDI Reply #1 – 2005-05-02 11:54 pm Before anything else... Can you actually connect your (piano) keyboard to your computer via MIDI cable, so that the computer can interact with the MIDI commands? Not every computer has a place to make the connection, and even if it does, you may or may not have an appropriate software driver. So give the forum more info, especially about your computer and peripheral hardware. If you do not see anything in the drop down box, then you have not installed a MIDI input device driver in your system.>My keyboard is connected to my computer via MIDI/USB interface, and the driver for the interface was sucessfully installed on my computerIf there is nothing in the Input Device list, then possibly not.Try this:shutdown NWCdisconnect and reconnect the USB cable to this interface (if drivers are missing, Windows should try to set them up again)start NWC Quote Selected
