Created MIDI-files wont play

Hi!

I just created a solo for one of our bands song with NoteWorthy Composer, because I used a several years ago and it worked well. I saved my file as a NWC-file, but when I save it as a MIDI (type 1) and try to play, nothing happens. It just have the right time, but no notes.

It's the demo version, but it should work anyway, shouldn't it?

Any ideas?

As far as I know, the evaluation version has no limits in saving.

If you have NWC open at the same time as you try to play the MID, it might be that NWC reserves your MIDI device.

Either close NWC or configure it so (in Options) that it uses the MIDI device only when it is playing or active.

Other reasons could be that you have set the system default MIDI device as your MIDI out device. Review the settings in Multimedia Properties in Control Panel.

Last I remember, the demo does limit you to 8 saves per piece, but I think your problem likely is related more to the things Jussi mentioned.

it limits saving as nwc files to ten times (the first one counts) but saving as midi is unlimited
